For anyone interested in fashion, movies, Old Hollywood, Marilyn Monroe, or anyone who enjoys reading, I highly suggest you read “The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe” by J. Randy Taraborrelli.
So many people see Marilyn as being a ditzy blonde movie star and don’t ever get to know much more than that. If I could, I would tell every single one of those people to read this biography to learn more about this misunderstood Hollywood icon. It really shows the internal struggle of being both Norma Jeane and Marilyn Monroe and the hardships that ensue while being such a prominent public figure.

Hi Everyone!
My name’s Larissa and I am the creator and designer for LACED Hair Accessories & Sashes. I make one of a kind headbands, sashes, and lace extensions for the fashion-forward, make a statement but on-a-budget kind of woman.
I’ve always been inclined to do something in the fashion industry. In grade 12 I was obsessed with Blair Waldorf from the show Gossip Girl and always loved her style and how she paired each outfit with a matching headband. For prom I wanted to something similar but in my own way. I looked for a unique hair piece but never found what I wanted so I made my own. Though not my best work, it did the trick and it ended up being something special rather than purchasing something that hundreds of other girls wore to their proms. Since then, whenever I see something that inspires me, I turn it into something wearable.
